Chapter 12
If you choose to do so, please post about the chapter here.
These optional posts are a way to participate if you feel less inclined to do so in class. Each post should be no less than 200 words and should reflect some sort of critical thought about the chapter, expanding on the ideas presented in the text, as opposed to simply summarizing various points.

This chapter discussed ideas about sources; specifically, where to find and how to use them. Sources are vital to any academic work that highlights the different findings or processes of a topic that might be related to scientific findings or literary works. This is because they are accurate information highlighting the teachings and ideas that relate to the information in the source or simply define the information in the source. These sources were incredibly important in the production of my research paper, simply because they were required, but also because the ideas I didn’t know the information about or learned new information about came from these various sources that I found on the college research websites. Without these sources it would’ve been unreasonable to do my topic on ketogenic processes in which I attempted to counter critical viewpoints that talked down upon the keto diet. The information I required wouldn’t have been available to me. However, different sources seem to have different uses, and some can be totally useless to my paper. This is because some of the information in the sources might not have been related to my topic or my interests in the research paper, which only served to waste my time when working. Therefore, sources vary in their ability to be useful towards the writers and thinking critically about what you’re writing about and why it panders towards certain audiences is important before examining different sources.
